When Learning Feels Overwhelming Clarity Changes Everything

Many capable students struggle not because they lack intelliegence - but because they lack structure.
They may:
  • Understand content in isolation but struggle in exams
  • Feel overwhelmed by long questions
  • Lose marks through avoidable errors
  • Experience anxiety under timed conditions
  • Need information broken down clearly and explcitly

Clarity Learning specialises in supporting students who benefit from:

  • Explicit modelling and worked examples

  • Calm, predictable lesson routines

  • Chunked instructions and scaffolded practice

  • Visual frameworks to organise thinking

  • Examiner-informed exam technique

We particularly support students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and processing difficulties - as well as those who simplu need clearer, more structured teaching to thrive.

About Clarity Learning

Clarity Learning was founded by David Worden, a senior secondary school leader and experienced GCSE examiner with over a decade of experience improving outcomes for students across mainstream and SEND settings.

Throughout his career, David has worked with many capable students who struggle not because they lack ability — but because learning feels overwhelming or unclear. Clarity Learning was created to provide structured, specialist support that makes academic progress feel manageable again.

Professional Expertise

As a Vice Principal responsible for Quality of Education and Literacy, David leads whole-school improvement and raising attainment strategies across secondary education.

Alongside this, he serves as a GCSE examiner, providing detailed insight into:

  • How marks are awarded

  • Why students lose marks

  • What high-quality responses look like

  • How to translate knowledge into exam success

  • This examiner perspective shapes every session.

Specialist SEND Experience

Over many years, David has worked closely with students with:

  • ADHD

  • Autism

  • Dyslexia

  • Processing and working memory difficulties

  • Exam anxiety

  • Low academic confidence
